Add your calendar from Google Calendar itself: copy the secret iCal address and paste it here. Events show on Calendar and Today. This import is one-way (Google → Cognis).

Google Calendar → Settings (gear) → Settings → your calendar on the left → Integrate calendar → Secret address in iCal format.
